The 2010 season is off to a good start with a first round win to Geelong. After the success of last year we have a lot to look forward to -- and of course a lot of new developments. The Premiership Stand will be ready for business in mid-April, and if you haven't seen the new turf in Skilled Stadium you are going to be VERY impressed. You will also see a lot of other development activity around Kardinia Park. New facilities at St. Mary's are ready, and there will be new works happening at the Netball courts later in the year. The Geelong Football Umpires League is also gearing up for some major renovations and there will be new public toilet facilities as well. A lot is happening! You can feel the change of seasons in the air. It's a great time to be out and active, and there's nothing like crisp morning air to make you feel like running, giving the dog some exercise, or playing ball with friends or the kids. Just remember that even though its cooler, you still need to be sun smart.
